44th Broadcasting Day Ceremony

The Korean Broadcasters Association celebrated its 44th Broadcasting Day ceremony.
Broadcasting Day was first designated to commemorate receiving an independent call code called 'HL' from the Comite Consultatif International des Rediocommunication in 1947.
Nowadays it is celebrated to promote broadcasting, and enhance the cultural welfare for the public.
About 500 professionals from politics, economics, academics and social groups attended the ceremony at the 63 Building in Central Seoul.
97 people were awarded for contributing to the development of broadcasting.
And 11 Actors including Lee Young-ae, starring actress of "Dae Jang Geem" or 'Jewel in the Palace' were awarded as well.
