This romance movie was first released in 2006. In the movie, a rich young man is forced to move to the countryside to inherit his grandfather's fortune. Until he does this, he has no access to his cottage, penthouse, or credit cards, meaning he cannot live comfortably or complete a Ria international money transfer. While this isn't what he initially wants, he ends up falling in love with one of his classmates.

3. "200 Pounds Beauty"

"200 Pounds Beauty" isn't like most other Korean romantic movies. It is a romantic musical comedy about a talented singer who weighs over 200 lbs. Due to her weight, she cannot get a record deal, so instead, ghost sings for a less-talented pop star. When she realizes she is not living her dream, she undergoes plastic surgery to change her appearance and become a slim beauty with a different identity.

4. "A Moment to Remember"

"A Moment to Remember" is a brilliant film choice if you're looking for a real tear-jerker. Filmed in 2004, this remarkable film topped the box office charts in South Korea for over two weeks. Starring Jung Woo-sung and Son Ye-jin, this film takes you on a journey of love followed by loss due to Alzheimer's.

5. "Be with You"

The South Korean film, "Be with You", is based on a novel by Japanese writer Takuji Ichikawa. This film is all about a lady called Soo-ah. At the start of the film, Soo-ah is dying. However, before she does, she promises her husband to return one year later. As promised, Soo-ah returns to see her husband the following year. However, she has no memory of ever meeting him.
