Lee Kyu-sung, who played the role of Park Gi-seong, an assistant at Best Korean Language, in tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon", which ended on the 30th, revealed his feelings about the end of the show through his agency, Frein TPC.

Lee Kyu-sung said, "I think I had a happy eight weeks after watching "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon" and imbued into director Ahn Pan-seok's direction. My character, Gi-seong, comes out as a loser adult, and whenever Gi-seong comes out, I think it's a success if the viewers are a little upset".

"It was an honor to work with director Ahn Pan-seok during my acting career. There were many things I learned while working with director Ahn Pan-seok, who I've ever only heard about, and I think I have grown even more thanks to the good crew and actors", he said, expressing his gratitude to his colleagues.

Lee Kyu-sung also attracted attention in this drama for being completely assimilated into the character. He was well-received for his excellent performance of energy and facial expressions from the condensed emotions of Park Gi-seong in the drama. In particular, his consistent timid tone and intimidated attitude, frozen in front of the director cause viewers to feel sorry for him, making them even more curious about the character's narrative. As such, expectations are added to how Lee Kyu-sung will come out next.
