A chance of trade for main image contents of Korea and Japan will be prepared

Main image contents of Korea and Japan will get together.

That's going to happen in '2008 Image Business Forum of Korea and Japan' which has been held in the auditorium of National New Art Museum in Rokbinki, Tokyo, Japan on 17th. Korea Culture & Contents Agency (Director: Seok-Man Ko) and Visual Industry Promotion Organization (VIPO) will be co-operative for the forum which is a chance of networking between parties of main image contents industries of Korea and Japan.

The event will help both parties' contents business development and will give a chance for business co-operation since 2006. It has been held each year and it is the 3rd event.

Last year, films such as 'Piam Island' and 'Boat' have been produced by co-operation between both nations based on a theme about attractive characters of Korea and Japan and possibilities for advancing to foreign markets. Based on the achievement, image producers and creators will be invited for co-operation between Korea and Japan in order to discuss about strategies to dominate foreign markets and advantages for co-operation as well as discussion for new business models of both nations.

Jin-Gyu Kim, the head office manager of Industry Promotion Office of Korea Cultural & Contents Agency which holds the event, said, "Through this event, Korea's great cultural contents will be introduced in Japanese market. And also it will be a base that both nations can help Asia's cultural contents businesses".
