A father-daughter version drama of "A Moment to Remember"

"A Moment to Remember", a film that stars Son Ye-jin and Jung Woo-sung, had touched the hearts of 2.6 million viewers, letting them know that one can suffer from Alzheimer's Disease regardless of age. In this Christmas season, a drama on the same subject matter will be broadcast. This time, however, it will not be about a couple but a father and a daughter. Even sadder is that the two are not related by blood.

SBS will broadcast its Christmas special, the two-hour TV drama "My Love Clementine" (written by Park Beom-soo and directed by Hong Chang-Wook), at 10:40 AM on Dec. 25.

Dal-Ho, who is in his thirties, and his wife decide to adopt a child due to their sterility. When Seok-Tae, Dal-Ho's friend, has an unwanted baby, Dal-Ho and his wife take the baby as their daughter on the condition that Seok-Ho would never look for her again.

Naming the baby Bada, the couple devotes themselves to raising her. One day, when Bada is five years old, the family goes on a picnic and has a traffic accident, which kills Dal-Ho's wife and injures Dal-Ho's skull.

When Bada is about 9 years old, she worries about her father, who often loses his memory and forgets things. After a series of strange behavior?such as going outside without putting on his clothes?his condition becomes so much worse that he cannot even find his way home. At the hospital, Dal-Ho is diagnosed as having Alzheimer's Disease.

Seok-Ho suddenly shows up and asks Dal-Ho for Bada, as he and his wife could not conceive a child. Dal-Ho desperately protects Bada and fights not to lose his memory.

Son Hyun-joo plays Dal-Ho. A child actress, Nam Ji-hyun, plays Bada. Kim Ji-yeong, Lee Byung-wook, and Lee Hyun-kyung also appear in the drama.
