A Movie 'Madam Freedom' is on in 56 years

An old movie, 'Madam Freedom' will be on TV in 56 years.

At 10:00 pm on 5th, 'Madam Freedom', which has been released in 1956, will be on TV. The movie has produced by Hyeong-Mo Han and Am Park, Jeong-Rim Kim, Mi-Hi Yang, and Min Lee have acted on the movie.

Producer Hyeong-Mo Han is the master of Korean film history. 'Madam Freedom' was the most popular movie in 1950s. Also it brought a popularity of Korean movie for the first time in the history.

For the first time in Korean films, it dealt with shocking topics like immorality based on dancing so it brought a big social ramification.

A professor, Tae-Yeon Jang (Am Park)'s wife Seon-Yeong O (Jeong-Rim Kim) is a housewife. But as she starts work for a Western Goods Store, she meets her old school friend, Yun-Ju Choi (Gyeong-Hee No) and goes to a party of wives of famous socialites.

In the party, Seon-Yeong O becomes crazy at dancing. Furthermore, she gets an immoral affair with a young man in her neighbor, Chun-Ho Shin (Min Lee).
