A seminar to be held on joint international production of animation and ways for overseas expansion

As recently discussions on joint international production of animation are held frequently a seminar is to be held to learn from experts' insights on the current status on and challenges facing international joint production and entrance strategies into China and Japan.
The seminar is scheduled to be carried out on joint international production of animation and ways for overseas expansion by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA, President & CEO: Lee Jae-woong). The presentation takes place on the 3rd floor of KBI building (the Korea Broadcasting Institute) on July 21(Tue), 3 p.m.
Lectures will be delivered by in order of Dr. Kim Young-duk, Dr. Kang Man-seok, and Director Lee Byung-gyu of Korea Animation Producers Association with opening remarks by Choi Young-ho, vice president of KOCCA.
Director Lee Byung-gyu (Iconix) presents solutions based on problems revealed in the process of analyzing cases of co-production conducted in Korea and in-depth interviews related to joint international production of animation.
In addition to this, lectures will be given on strategies for entrance into Japan and China by Dr. Kim Young-Duk and Dr. Kang Man-seok, respectively. They have conducted research on regulations and promotional policies for animation in Korea, China and Japan.
The admission fee is free. Participants will be provided with 'Information on Global Media and Content Companies'. This report has information on a total of 160 animation studios from about 40 countries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. It contains details on company overviews, financial status, and operational activities. Accordingly, it is expected to be useful to those looking for partners for joint production or exports.
