On the 18th, MBC drama "Man Who Dies to Live" was aired and actor Choi Min-soo appeared as a billionaire CEO, Count Said Faid Ali aka Jang Dal-goo. He was a Korean man who flew overseas in 1970's to labor in Middle East and gone missing. In Korea, he became a dead man, considering the time he was lost for. However, he actually survived his way up in one of the Middle Eastern kingdom and became a Count. His nicknames and titles include the billionaire, C.E.O, single man, play boy, the kingdom's George Clooney and many more.

This Count Said Faid Ali character is far different from all the characters actor Choi Min-soo has been acting until now. Starting from the drama "What's Love?" in 1991, he was mainly an actor who plays charismatic manly man, as we can see in "Sandglass", "The Legend", "Warrior Baek Dong-soo", "Sword and Flower", "Pride and Prejudice" and many more. Along with his masculine visual, his real life behavior fitted perfectly for those characters. That is why when we think of actor Choi Min-soo, we often think of adjective such as charisma, intense, action and etc.

Choi Min-soo played his new character in perfection, creating his very own Count Said Faid Ali. In the production announcement meeting, he mentioned that it was hard because there is no real life figure he could compare the character to. He put an extra effort to portray B rated humor, bluff, yet graceful man, and so far, all the viewers are impressed by his image change.

So far, "Man Who Dies to Live" is looking good, and with good beginning, we are anticipating a great outcome to this comical drama!
