Actor Kim Won-hae has been cured of COVID-19.

His agency announced on the 22nd that Kim Won-hae was admitted to quarantine treatment on the 25th of August and was tested negative on the 22nd..

"Although his condition was very good due to the lack of symptoms after the outbreak, we will do our best to take care of Kim Won-hae's health so that he can continue his work in a healthy manner", it added.

Earlier, Kim Won-hae went into isolation after being voluntarily examined at the news of cast members who were practicing the drama together on the 19th of last month being tested positive for COVID-19. Kim Won-hae, who was later tested positive, was hospitalized and treated in an isolation facility and said his symptoms were in good condition.

His road manager also was tested for the disease but resulted negative after 2 weeks of quarantine.

Kim Won-hae has a reputation for his performance in numerous dramas. He also starred in films "The Himalayas", "Asura: The City of Madness", "Forbidden Dream" and "Time to Hunt". He is also starring in the film "Samjin Company English Class" which is coming out in October.

Meanwhile, Kim Won-hae is starring in the tvN drama "Start Up" which premieres on the 17th of October.
