Actor Oh Jung-se to Come Back With TV CHOSUN "Uncle"

Oh Jung-se who has won two consecutive awards for supporting actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards, has decided to star in TV CHOSUN's new drama "Uncle".

TV CHOSUN said on the 18th that Oh Jung-se, Jeon Hye-jin-II, Park Sun-young, Lee Sang-woo and Hwang Woo-seul-hye will appear in the new drama "Uncle".

Based on the British drama of the same name, "Uncle" tells the story of an uncle who takes care of his nephew, an elementary school student with anxiety disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder, due to his sister's divorce.

Oh Jung-se plays the uncle Wang Joon-hyeok, who was swindled and put on the edge of a cliff, while Jeon Hye-jin-II plays Wang Joon-hee, who chose to divorce after 12 years of marriage to protect her child from domestic violence.

Park Sun-young plays Park Hye-ryeong, the chairman of a mom cafe and the neighborhood's 'queen bee', Lee Sang-woo plays Joo Kyeong-il, a father who raises his daughter alone after his wife's death, and Hwang Woo-seul-hye plays Kim Yoo-ra, the face manager of the mom cafe and Hye-ryeong's right-hand woman.

The production team of "Uncle" said, "It is a work that will give sympathy and healing to all generations through common interests such as family, conflicts in residential spaces, education problems, and rising status".

The drama airs in the second half of the year.
