Actress Han Chae-young to Star in 1st TV Series in 4 Years

Actress Han Chae-young will return to the small screen after a four-year absence. The actress' agency said Monday that she will appear in a new TV series, "A Pledge to God", scheduled to air on MBC in late November.

The melodrama revolves around two married couples whose ethical boundaries are tested when they must act to save the lives of their dying children.

Han plays an anchorwoman, who is devoted to her children.

"I am very happy, as it has been quite a long time since I last appeared in a TV drama. My character and the story appealed to me as soon as I read the script. I'm giving my all to the series and I'm confident it's going to be a fantastic work", she said.
