Actress Lee Si-young to Help Youngsters

Actress Lee Si-young has been named a promotional ambassador for young people by Gyeonggi Province.

Lee will appear in promotional materials and video clips created by organizations in the province to support adolescents and children for a period of one year.

Lee, who will raise awareness of crimes against youngsters, among other projects, was picked due to her positive image and challenging spirit, a spokesman for the province said.

Lee, who is also a popular TV host on a KBS entertainment show, revealed her fearless spirit earlier this year by winning the 48-kg class National Amateur Boxing Championships in March.
