[Album Review] "Super Junior" : Is Mr. Simple gonna be the last Super Junior's album? [part 3]

Mr. Simple is declared as Super Junior's last album before Leeteuk and Heechul enlist in the military service and leaving the group with only 8 members.

From 13 original members, just 10 are involved in the Mr. Simple album.

Kangin has already enlisted last year, Han Geng quitted due to internal conflict, and Kibum never actively participates in the group.

Will there be the next album with only 8 members? Fingers cross.

The last 7 songs in the album are really SUPER entertaining. Either with their mellow swingy melody or with their hearty upbeat tempo. Let's check it out.

1. Feels Good

The story about boys fight over one girl is not necessarily a new idea. But combining the average story with an energetic beat, that's another thing. Moreover, if the boys are Super Junior, who can bear to resist? Really will make that girl 'feels good'.

2. Memories

'Memories' seems like the continuation of 'Storm'. Whilst 'Storm' tells about a guy who was left by his girl, 'Memories' express the sadness of living in memories. Again, Yesung's beautiful voice is dominant in 'Memories', just like any other vocal-driven song. Yet, Yesung said that 'Memories' is his favourite one.

3. Sunflower

This is a highly recommended song to be played during your date. Swingy and sweet. Such song will increase your happy mood and make you smile. Imagine Super Junior "secretly take a look at the girl, nervously smile, and wait for her to walk pass and greet her". Cute! In my head is appearing an illusion of Ryeowok sitting on a bench under the sunshine, with his pink and baby blue T-shirt, waiting for his girl and hurriedly show his shy smile when the girl walks pass. Secretly in love.

4. White Christmas

Who doesn't like a purely white snow falling from the sky during Christmas time? Boys, girls, young, and old. Everybody loves a white Christmas. And so does Super Junior. 'White Christmas' is a must played song for Christmas this year, next year, and next next year. Its trendy beat and rap will colour your Christmas and make your hopes come true. The dream of a Santa, the presents and his reindeers. Imagine Super Junior in white suits, under the Christmas tree, bring a bouquet of red roses especially for you on the Christmas day. Lovely!

5. Y

What happened to Donghae (Donghae)? 'Y' is written by Donghae and said that 'it is based on my personal experience'. Nothing different with 'Memories'. 'Y' cries out Donghae's pain of living without his loved one. Its sweet melody is an evidence of Donghae's self-actualization. Many girls will still be waiting for you Donghae! Cheers up!

6. My Love, My Kiss, My Heart

Nothing's wrong with this song, but I just secretly hope that K.R.Y will bring us something new in their music genre. Yes it's true that mellow ballad song will suit their vocal, but is it too risky to have K.R.Y sings another genre? Anyway, the compilation of Ryeowok, Cho Kyuhyun and Yesung's voice creates one magical extremely beautiful song that talks about (again) emotional downfall.

7. Bonus Track – Perfection

An additional song from Super Junior-M.
