What is your favourite song in Super Junior's new album, Mr. Simple?

Right after 'Mr. Simple', there's 'Opera'. Do you think of 'Opera' as 'not original and another version of Super Junior M's Perfection' ? Probably. Give you the next song, 'Be My Girl'. Does it engage you with its catchy and trendy beat? Or you prefer the ballad melody in 'Storm'? Anyway, let's get through the first 5 songs on the album. (By the way, hey Mr. Simple, you are not included in the list. I've made you an exclusive article that talks only about you)

1. Opera

Some people say, 'Opera' is the evidence of Super Junior's lack of creativity. Let's check the truth. Is its tempo and beat similar to Super Junior M's Perfection? Yes. Is it genre electronic just like 'Perfection'? Yes. But the major question is, does this song hook you up and force you (in a good way) to move your body and lead you to the dancefloor? Exactly! Its fierce and intense tempo will eventually make you nod your head and say 'Hmmm….It's probably my favourite song'.

The song expresses Super Junior's feeling of being the center of attention on their performing stage. Showered with pride and applause, but in their very deep of hearts, sometimes this kind of feeling will make you lose your breath and want to run away.

2. Be My Girl

Yes, yes, yes! I want to be your girl, Super Junior! Unfortunately, like many other 'unlucky' fans, we are disappointed. Super Junior have already had their own affairs of the hearts. 'Be My Girl' tells a funny story of how tired a guy for passionately chasing after his only girl. He says, "I'm like a broken battery that can't be used. You pull me left and right like a magnet".

Oh, if the girl doesn't want you, I'd really not mind to be your girl.

3. Walkin'

After an extremely tiring day, try to close your eyes, empty your mind, and let Super Junior relaxes your soul with this swingy song. It will definitely lift up your mood. Despite its slow beat melody, Super Junior tries to tell us their journey, how could they reach and be who they are now. Step by step, they walkin through the days.

Wait a minute, does anyone have 'something' to say? I do. I hate to say but this song is kind of remind me of Lady Gaga's Eh Eh – Nothing Else I Can Say. Anyone else thinks of the same?

4. Storm

Oh My God! I'm afraid to listen to this song. It really is sad and painful until I'm afraid I could shed a tear. Through this song, I can feel their 'storm' of being left by their loved ones. Imagine, when you are forced to leave someone you are truthfully in love. "because it was more painful than a fate shattered like glass".

Yesung's mellow voice is the most dominant part of this song. Two thumbs up for 'Storm'!

5. Good Friends

Really thanks to "Good Friends". After having the goosebumps from the previous song, the happy atmosphere is brought back to reality through this twinkly song. Its funky beat fixes the mood and will certainly remind you of your good friends. Cheerful, young, freedom and has no pressure. That's how I describe this song. "Good Friends" actually narrates Super Junior's journey of how they first met each other, grown up together, share sweat, tears and secrets, and how they will have to say GOODBYE someday. Sad but true. Another thumbs up.

So far, which is your favourite? Stick to Mr. Simple, switch to Opera? Or would love to relax your mind with Walkin'?
