Every week, it breaks its own ratings, continues to receive favorable reviews, and breaks down the prejudice 'SF movies are difficult' and 'one-sided love is boring', continuing a Box Office hit.

SBS Monday-Tuesday drama "Do You Like Brahms" (written by Ryoo Bo-ri/directed by Jo Young-min) and SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Alice" (written by Kim Kyu-won, Kang Cheol-gyoo, Kim Ga-yeong-I/directed by Baek Soo-chan) will point out the implications of breaking prejudice that was recognized through the ratings of the two dramas and favorable reviews of viewers.

"Alice" – overthrows stereotype, tops general miniseries ranking

Regardless of age or gender, "Alice" is hot. The fourth episode recorded 11.4% and up to 11.9%, and is currently the number one integrated miniseries viewer rating. In addition, it is loved by all age groups and continues to be number one in the same time slot of all channels. It has caught the attention of not only women, the main audience of the drama, but also men of most ages, and is expected to attract the entire nation, proving its value as a 'megahit'.

It is also true that there were concerns that SF dramas are difficult before the broadcast began. However, the main factors that helped break this stereotype were the easy-to-understand and exciting story of human elements and genres that could be sympathized with, the unpredictable development, the thrilling production, the eye-opening attractions and the actors' passionate performances. In particular, the two trusted actors Kim Hee-sun (Yoon Tae-i/Park Seong-yeong) and Joo Won (Park Jin-gyeom) displayed acting skills and worthy of their reputation. Kim Hee-sun impressed viewers with her overwhelming visual and acting skills by playing a role that only she could play in Korea, going from the age range of 20s to the 40s. Joo Won increased the level of immersion in the play by portraying a rather difficult character with congenital apathy with amazing concentration and expression. Viewers are even more excited about what records "Alice" will set from the fifth episode (on the 11th), when the full-fledged time travel begins.

"Do You Like Brahms" – proves one-sided love works with 7% in viewership

The syndrome began in its first week. Various online communities and cafes, including social media have been talking about it saying it is 'the kind of drama that's been long awaited', 'the life drama' and 'completely relatable'. In addition, in the first half of this year, the drama about one-sided love was sluggish, moving back and forth between 2 and 3% of the viewer rating, while "Do You Like Brahms" recorded the highest viewer rating of 7%, which is considered to have wiped out the sluggishness of romance dramas. The emotional, satisfying spread out of the story, realistic scripts and delicate production as well as the intense immersion of the actors has indulged the viewers completely.

The ratings for the third and fourth episodes also showed a steady rise from the previous week, proving the strongest level of immersion in "Do You Like Brahms". Delicate and breathtaking scenes are unfolded until the end of the drama and the ending scene, which explodes deep emotions and makes viewers look forward to the next scene. In particular, the third ending scene, which depicted Park Joon-yeong (Kim Min-jae-I), who gave consolation with music to injured Chae Song-ah (Park Eun-bin), has surpassed 150,000 views (based on Naver) in just a day after its release, making it the number one video clip that has been seen. Expectations are high on what ending scenes will touch viewers' hearts in the future.

"Alice" broadcasts every Friday-Saturday at 10PM while "Do You Like Brahms" broadcasts every Monday-Tuesday at 10PM.
