While it seems Amy is visiting the country for a while, attention goes back to why she was deported in the first place.

Amy was deported for continuous use of propofol and zolpidem.

In April of 2012, Amy was accused of having used a kind of propofol also known as 'milk shot' in a nail shop in Gangnam. She was charged with violation of the usage of drugs and was sentenced to probation for 2 years and 8 months imprisonment in November the same year.

She was then allowed to stay in the country under the agreement that she would be deported if she caused the same crime again.

However, she was charged once again for similar charges in 2014 and was slapped with a 5 million fine and additional fees. The court ordered Amy out of the country by March 27, 2015.

She failed to comply and asked for litigation for revocation but lost the case in June 2015. The court stated that Amy was considered a patient with an infectious disease, a drug addict and a threat to public hygiene and saw her deportation as reasonable.

Amy appealed again but lost again in November and left in December.

Amy debuted in 2008 on Olive TV. She was also on TV for being from an affluent family.

Meanwhile, a media reported that Amy will be returning to Korea to attend a family crisis.
