"An Escalator in World Order" in Competition at 12th Jeonju International Film Festival

A total of 190 films from 38 countries will be shown during the 12th Jeonju International Film Festival, according to The Hollywood Reporter (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/nader-simin-open-jeonju-festival-172772).

Jeonju has invited 12 films by debuting directors to the International Competition this year, including "An Escalator in World Order" by Korean director Kim Kyung-man. The trade paper adds that for the Korean Feature Film Competition, 10 titles consisting of four documentaries and six fictional works will be showcased, including Park Chan-kyong's "Anyang, Paradise City".

The festival runs April 28-May 6.
