Anifest2005 to invite a total of four Korean short and full-length animations

This year's Anifest 2005 to be held in CZECH on May 5-11, invites a total of four short and full-length animations.


'Empress Chung' by animation maker Nelson Shin is to be screened in this film festival's full-length competiton section. Besides, 'Birthday Boy' and 'Cold blood' are to be submitted for presenting on the screen in its student cinema competition section and video clip section respectively.

The organiser announced a competition in the following film categories:a) Feature-length film, b) Short film
c) Television film, d) Television serial, e) Video clip, f) Advertisement, introductory spot, g) Student film
h) Film made by children

First off, the prizes awarded by the juries in its Original production section include -AniFest Grand Prix for the Best Original Film, - Prize for the Best Feature-Length Film, and -Prize for the Best Short Film.

Second, Television production and commision production / work that has been made to order will be awarded - Grand Prix for the Best Television and Commision Production,- Prize for the Best Television Film and Serial, - Prize for the Best Video Clip, and- Prize for the Best Advertisement, Introductory Spot

Third, Student production includes - Grand Prix for the Best Student Film, - Prize for the Best School Collection and - Prize for the Best Film made by Children.

Fourthly, Prizes awarded by the organiser of the festival are - The Trebon Prize and - Audience Prize.

The winner of the AniFest Grand Prix will also receive a financial award of 3 000 euros. The winner of the Grand Prix for the best Television and Commision Production will receive a financial award of 1 500 euros and the winner of the Grand Prix for the best student film will receive a financial award of 1 500 euros.
