The fantasy spectacle "Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days" she appeared in drew over 10 million viewers last year, and thanks to the explosive popularity of the film, she earned praise and awards.

Kim has started another busy year with her latest film "Innocent Witness" in which she impressed viewers with her portrayal of a girl who suffers from a developmental disorder, a form of autism known as Asperger syndrome. She is also set to appear in a TV series this summer.

Kim made her big screen debut in 2006 when she was a seven-year-old child and has since appeared in nearly 20 films and TV dramas.

Kim is now about to move on to the next chapter in her already more than 10-year career as an actress, as she just began her first year at Hanyang University in Seoul, majoring in acting.

"What's good about being a grown-up is that I don't have to leave dinner parties or other gatherings early. I want to hang out with my colleagues and senior actors until late at night", said Kim. "I'm also very excited to study with friends who pursue the same dream as me".
