In the Netflix original "Squid Game", Anupam Tripathi played an immigrant laborer named Ali and has been gaining attention from fans all over the world.

"Squid Game" is a nine-episode drama about people who participate in a mysterious survival game with 45.6 billion won in prize money risking their lives to become the final winner. Recently, it has swept the top spot in the TV show category in countries where Netflix is officially serviced, creating a sensation.

In the series, Ali is a character who comes to Korea with the Korean Dream but ends up getting mentally and physically exploited. He is a victim of an industrial accident but his employer doesn't give him money for treatment let alone money to go back to his hometown. In the end, Ali does something bad and to make up for it, he joins the Squid Game, putting faith back into humans one last time.

Anupam Tripathi synchronized well with Lee Jung-jae in the role of Gi-hoon and Park Hae-soo in the role of Sang-woo. When asked about them, Anupam said, "I was so happy to work with them".

He added, "Park Hae-soo was so nice and kind and treated me like a friend. He helped me throughout and led me to do better. The way he acted out Sang-woo was nothing like I'd seen before".

"Park Hae-soo makes a change in the scene with his existence alone. I learned a lot just by watching him. Thanks to him, Sang-woo and Ali managed to bond. We also made good friends out of the set. I think he is a very giving person".

About Lee Jung-jae, Anupam Tripathi said, "I am also grateful for Lee Jung-jae. He is a fun person who likes to joke a lot. He was very caring and considerate of me. In the first scene, I worried I pulled his neck too hard but he smiled and told me to do whatever I have to do. That helped me relax. I think I was able to act more freely and naturally thanks to him".
