Arirang to Provide K-Pop Content to Yahoo Web Portals

In a deal inked today, Yahoo will bring Arirang's K-pop programming to seven of its Asian web portals as early as next Thursday.
Arirang TV and Yahoo signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday to make Arirang programs available on Yahoo portal sites in seven Asia Pacific countries, including Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and the Philippines.

The Arirang programs -- including "Pops in Seoul", "Showbiz Korea" and "Simply K-pop" -- will appear under the "Korean Wave" tab in Yahoo's entertainment section.

Yahoo launched the "Korean Wave" tab in May and the service will expand to countries in North America and Europe, through the end of next year.
