Hello Michelle

[Reporter : ] Hello Conn-young

So, what will you start us off with[Reporter : ] The BFI London Film Festival, the largest film event in the UK, kicked off yesterday with some of the best films from established and emerging filmmakers, including 6 from Korea, and enough red carpet glamour to keep the paparazzi happy. Take a look.

The 56th BFI London Film Festival opened yesterday as A-list stars from all over the world, including Tim Burton, Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irvine, hit the red carpet for a bit of glitz and glamour before the opening film got started.
That film was Burton's "Frankenweenie", a 3-D black-and-white stop-motion film about a boy who loses his dog and uses science to resurrect him.
This year's festival offers 225 films, including 6 from Korea, throughout the 12-day run.
The gala screenings and awards that form the festival's core are accompanied by a full program of industry events, public forums and classes.
The festival's director, Clare Stewart, said that she was very pleased with this year's festival line-up, claiming that moviegoers can anticipate a wide range of films and events.

[Interview : Clare Stewart, Director
BFI London Film Festival] "We've got a great selection of gala events at the festival this year. Dustin Hoffman's directorial debut which stars Maggie Smith who'd be on the red carpet for 'Quartet' along with Billy Connolly. We have a great night with Ben Affleck for 'Argo' and we're thrilled that he's going to be here for what is his third directorial outing as well as him taking the lead role in a profoundly interesting thriller".

Of the 12 world premieres at this year's festival, the film receiving the most attention from the media is the new Rolling Stones documentary, "Crossfire Hurricane".
Other films showing at the festival include Roger Michell's "Hyde Park on Hudson", Graham Chapman's biopic "A Liar's Autobiography" and the newly adapted "Great Expectations", which closes this year's event.
The BFI London Film Festival runs from October 10th to the 21st at venues around London.
So can you tell us a bit more about the 6 Korean films that will be screening at the festival[Reporter : ] Well, none of the six films will be competing for awards at this year's festival, but they'll be screened throughout the 12-day event. "Doomsday Book", directed by Kim Jee-woon, is screening in the festival's Cult section.
The Thriller section features "A Fish", directed by Park Hong-min, "Helpess", directed by Byun Young-joo, and "Nameless Gangster", directed by Yoon Jong-bin.
And lastly, the Laugh section features "In Another Country", directed by Hong Sang-soo and the Love section features "Romance Joe", directed by Lee Kwang-kuk.

Sounds like a lot of great Korean films will be showing there. I hope they'll get a lot of attention and a positive response from audiences. And now, what else do you have for us[Reporter : ] Salma Hayek and Kevin James attended the world premiere of their upcoming film "Here Comes the Boom" in New York on Tuesday. The film is a heartwarming sports comedy that also stars former "Happy Days" star Henry Winkler.

Salma Hayek, Kevin James and Henry Winkler walked the red carpet in New York on Tuesday for the world premiere of their new film "Here Comes The Boom".

This sports comedy follows a high school biology teacher, played by Kevin James, who becomes a mixed martial arts fighter to raise money to prevent extracurricular activities from being axed at his school.
While doing this, he tries to attract the attention of the school nurse, who is played by Hayek.
To play a mixed martial arts fighter, James had to undergo extensive training for over a year.

[Interview : Kevin James, Actor] "It was pretty rough, I've got to be honest. It was fourteen months of just changing my diet, drinking greens, training two to three times a day, fighting -- like a fighter, with all these UFC guys. But at the end of the day it was worth it, I felt like we got what we wanted, which was a real version of it".

Actor Henry Winkler, who plays a music teacher in the film, said it didn't take him long to sign on to the film, after receiving a random phone call from Kevin James, who co-wrote the script with funnyman Adam Sandler.
