The best actor prize was given to Mads Mikkelsen for his role in Thomas Vinterberg's movie "The Hunt". The best actress award was given to both Cristina Flutur and Cosmina Stratan for their roles in the Romanian movie "Beyond the Hills".

Korean director Shin Su-won's "Circle Line" won the Circle-plus award in the mid- to long-length movie sector.
