A weatherman said the fall colors will appear up to four days later than usual, spreading south to central parts and Mt. Jiri around Oct. 3-18 and southern parts between Oct. 14 and 27.

The KMA attributed the slight delay to warmer temperatures than in previous years.

Mt. Sorak and Mt. Odae will see colors at their colorful peak during Oct. 18-19, Mt. Jiri on Oct. 25-30 and mountains further south on Oct. 28-Nov. 11.

Meanwhile, weather forecasters predict clear skies over the weekend with morning lows and daytime high temperatures fluctuating. The morning low in Seoul on Friday fell to 15 degrees Celsius, but the daytime high will reach 28 degrees.
