According to a report in a Japanese newspaper today, Bae invited 600 fans to the official photograph session of the first of the "Miso Project" series titled "Message! to Asia" established by Japan's DATV (Digital Adventure TV), set to be held at the Tokyo Dome on December 14.

The actor had said that he would like his fans to take pictures during the event which had originally been open only to related media officials.

Bae will be joined by fellow KEYEAST member Kim Hyun-joong of boy band SS501 for the event as well as stars such as Japanese singer GACKT and Vanness Wu.

The "Miso Project" is a contribution-based philanthropy project in charge of taking care of the future of the children in Asia. With the help of non-profit organization KnK (Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi), they will donate money to the underprivileged children in Cambodia and the Philippines.

Bae, 38, rose to super-stardom in Korea and throughout Asia in the 2002 KBS hit TV series "Winter Sonata" opposite Choi Ji-woo.

He has also promoted Korean culture in Asia, publishing a photo essay titled "Discovering the Beauty of Korea" last year which has been released in Japanese, Taiwanese and recently in Chinese.
