Baek Sung-hyun to Join the Coast Guard

Actor Baek Sung-hyun is to serve his mandatory military duty.

He will be standing duty in The Coast Guard in the Jinhae Navy Education Headquarters in Changwon, Kyeongsang-namdo. He posted a statement on his SNS on the 23rd of December saying, "I know it's a little late, but I signed up for The Coast Guard and thankfully they accepted me".

In the press conference for the movie "Bittersweet Brew", he said, "I am planning on going quietly because I'm embarrassed. It's mandatory that I do my part for the country".

Baek Sung-hyun debuted in 1994 and starred in dramas "Again and Again", "White Christmas", "Lee Je-ma", "Stairway to Heaven" and "Emperor of The Sea".
