On Wednesday the British media outlet said that Kim "held firm under massive expectation to win the 2010 Olympic ladies' singles title with a world record score". She "has won medals at all six World Championships that she has competed in, including gold in 2009 and 2013", it added.

Although Kim didn't compete in the ISU Grand Prix Series due to injury, the BBC expects she will retain her Olympic figure skating title next year.

Other athletes on the list included Russian ice hockey player Alex Ovechkin, German luger Felix Loch, Canadian bobsledder Kaillie Humphries, U.S. alpine skier Linsey Vonn, U.S. snowboarders Linsey Jacobellis and Shaun White, Norwegian cross-country skier Marit Bjoergen, Japanese ski jumper Sara Takanashi and Chinese short-track speed skater Wang Meng.
