It will be aired eight times in total around the world.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government hopes it will attract tourists from Europe and Southeast Asia, who are considerably fewer in number than those from Japan and China.

The production team started planning the Seoul edition in August. Producer Dawn Lake and reporter Razan Datar filmed sights and sounds in the city between Oct. 21 and 28.

Meanwhile, BBC World is also producing a 30-minute mini-documentary titled "One Square Mile in Seoul", which will introduce the life of Seoul citizens, to be aired on Dec. 24.
