Beauty Hallyu on the Way

Korean beauty salons are going overseas. The level and quality of Korean parlors are now on par with big name foreign shops. The fashion styles of Hallyu stars like singer Rain, actor Lee Byung-hun and actresses Song Hye-kyo and Choi Ji-woo has proved this point.
Lee Kyung Min Foret, with its brand VIDI VICI, has entered the Joyce department chain in Hong Kong.
Jung Saem Mool Inspiration also plans to launch a cosmetic brand named after its chairwoman Ms. Jung early next year in Korea and the U.S.
Another leading salon in the upscale Gangnam area, La Beauty Core, will also opens its third branch in the heart of downtown LA in early August. Three designers will be sent to LA while Core President Hyeon will also visit that location once a month for inspections as well as operations. Hyeon says the same quality service will be provided in LA as in Korea.
Hyeon says the LA salon is only the beginning, citing future plans to build a foundation and a school to foster new talent.
