"Black Pink signed a deal with Interscope Records, an American record label under Universal Music Group", their management agency YG Entertainment said on Tuesday. "The deal will help them to make inroads into the U.S".

They made their debut just about two years ago, but thanks to the explosive popularity of their music videos on YouTube, they soon became one of the most popular girl groups in Korea and were able to gain a following in the U.S.

All six of their music videos have attracted more than 100 million views each, with two drawing more than 400 million.
