BoA continues to storm televised music shows with "Hurricane Venus"

Korean pop sensation BoA managed to hold onto the No. 1 position on both music programs over the weekend with her song "Hurricane Venus".

The songstress scored her third consecutive win on the special episode of KBS' Friday "Music Bank" after which she gave an encore performance of "Hurricane Venus" with the members of SHINee, via request from the fans in Poland, while collecting her second Mutizen award on SBS' Sunday program "Inkigayo".

The special showing of "Music Bank" was broadcasted to 54 different countries around the world, where international fans viewed the show live and cast their votes for the winner.

BoA, 23, made her debut at the young age of 13 with her first album "ID; Peace B" in August 2000. She is one of the most active K-pop stars on the international music scene, releasing six albums in Japan and making her U.S. debut in March 2009.

She is currently on the "SMTOWN LIVE '10 World Tour" with the rest of her fellow SM labelmates including Kangta, U-Know U-Know, Changmin Lee Changmin, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x) and TRAX.

They will be performing the second show on September 4 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
