Breathtaking animation, White Seal, is now on TV

White Seal (Director: Kim, Hyun-Joo), an HD TV animation series that advocates environment-friendly animation, will be broadcast every Wednesday at 9 AM on EBS beginning on May 30, announced Studio Holhory (CEO: Suh, Seok-Joon).
White Seal begins with the story of Hyun, Joo-Ri, a curious and imaginative young girl, who saves a white seal from a bunch of pranksters in her town and brings it to her house. Thanks to the white seal's magic, Joo-Ri and her younger brother Bori take on various exciting adventures.
Particularly, this animation is completely free of adult themes and any hint of violence as it tells stories that are suitable for young children. Created with delicate direction and the use of rich colors, the animation portrays everyday life in Korea, showcasing pumpkin flowers, taros, and sage, on a watercolor-imbued backdrop.
Winner of the "Supporting Program for Broadcasting Animation Production", co-hosted by EBS and the Seoul Animation Center, White Seal recently received a distribution offer by Granada International, UK's major broadcasting distributor.
