BTS' 'DNA' Music Video Surpasses 1 Billion Views on YouTube

The music video for "DNA" by BTS surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube on Monday, making them the first Korean boy band to achieve the feat.

The video was already a success, as it garnered 100 million clicks on the video-sharing website within a month of its release in September 2017.

Earlier, PSY's popular "Gangnam Style" music video reached over 1 billion clicks in 2012 to become a global sensation as one of the most-viewed Korean music videos at the time. He also achieved the feat with his music video for "Gentleman" in 2016.

More recently, girl group Black Pink reached the milestone with the music video for their onomatopoeia-driven song "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" last year.
