BTS' Songs Proposed for NASA's Spaceflight Playlist

BTS be heard in space? U.S. space agency NASA on Wednesday said it selected three songs by BTS for its proposed playlist for astronauts traveling to the moon.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first historic landing of a human being on the moon in 1969 as part of NASA's Apollo 11 lunar mission, it started taking suggestions for songs for astronauts to help them make their long-distance return journey back to the moon, slated for 2024, more delightful.

After a flood of requests from BTS fans, three of their songs, all somehow space-themed -- "Moonchild", "Mikrokosmos" and "134340" -- were included in the proposed playlist.

Anyone interested can recommend songs until June 28. The final playlist will be out sometime next month.
