Bunshinsaba to close Tokyo Fantastic Film Fest

AHN Byung-ki's latest horror film Bunshinsaba has been selected as the Closing Film of the 17th Tokyo International Fantastic Film Festival.

The film, which was also Closing Film at the 2004 Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, stars KIM Gyu-ri, Lee Se-eun, and LEE Yu-ri in the story of an ostracized high school girl who unleashes a curse on her classmates. Director AHN Byung-ki's previous film Phone was a major hit in 2002 both in Korea and in Japan.

The latest edition of theTokyo International Fantastic Film Festival runs from October 14-17. In previous editions of the festival, Korean films Volcano High and 2009 Lost Memories have been selected as the festival's Opening Film.

Bunshinsaba is financed and distributed locally by Buena Vista Korea, and is sold internationally by Mirovision.
