Can You Go Through? advances to the competition category at the Hiroshima Festival

Gyeonggi Digital Contents Academy announced on July 4 that Can You Go Through?, an animated film by Ban, Joo-young, a 2006 alumnus, has advanced to the competition category at the 2006 Hiroshima International Animation Festival.
Ban's Can You Go Through? is a 3-D animated film of 6 minutes and 15 seconds long and was made as a means of support for the academy's graduation ceremony.
Told by a protagonist with multiple personalities and undergoing through chaotic processes of her femininity and identity, the film expresses the meaning of growing up with a unique sensibility.
The film is rich with symbolisms and has already received much interest in Korean and foreign short film festivals.
The three-day 2006 Hiroshima International Animation Festival, also known as one of the four major international animation festivals, will kick off on Aug. 24 in Hiroshima, Japan.
