CCTV to Air Joint Drama Series from Sat.

China's largest public broadcaster CCTV will begin airing a drama series jointly produced by South Korea and China from Saturday.

Most of the 20 episodes in the serial drama were filmed in Yanji, the capital of Yanbian, the autonomous prefecture of Korean Chinese in China's Jilin Province.

Shedding light on the ties between Koreans and the Korean Chinese, the story follows a Chinese man raised in South Korea who goes to Yanji to find his mother.

Joining a famous Chinese director and cast members from South Korea were new faces Son Ji-hoon and seasoned actor Lee Soon-jae and actress Kim Eun-soo.
