Celebrities' Clothes Going Cheap in Seoul This Week

Clothes worn by K-pop celebrities such as Girls' Generation and TVXQ will be sold at discounted prices of up to 80 percent this week at an event in Seoul aimed at promoting young fashion designers.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said on Tuesday that it will sell clothes and accessories made by young and promising fashion designers at the Seoul Fashion Creative Studio in Dongdaemun for three days from Wednesday.

An official at the Seoul Metropolitan Government said, "Clothes and fashion items from 47 brands by young designers -- of which 34 are women's fashion, seven are menswear and six are fashion accessories -- will be made available at heavily discounted prices. All of the clothing has been worn by celebrities in either TV dramas or commercials".

The sale is taking place from noon until 9 p.m. each day and can be reached by walking from exit 1 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park subway station.
