"Cheese in the Trap" ends with an email? Unbelievable

Viewers have a lot to say about the final episode of "Cheese in the Trap".

The final episode showed Hong Seol (Kim Go-eun) and Yoo Jeong (Park Hae-jin) breaking up. For three years until Hong Seol graduated and got a normal job at a normal company, she sent him emails asking him about his well-being but the emails remained 'unread'.

The drama ended with one of the emails being 'read' while Hong Seol left the computer for a while.

The problem is that the drama ending without showing Yoo Jeong's part. In-ho (Seo Kang-joon) and In-ha (Lee Sung-kyung) ended up being happy. In-ho went to music university and In-ha became a brighter person.

However, the story behind Yoo Jeong and Hong Seol wasn't shown in detail and the e-mail ending was quite a surprise.

The drama "Cheese in the Trap" went down a different path from the original web-toon. It started off on a good note and the characters stood out, but as the drama went on, the story made a heavy turn on romance.

The part of the main character Yoo Jeong shrunk noticeably and his emotions went unnoticed making him a strange character.

The writer of the web-toon also expressed her complaints about the drama and so did Park Hae-jin.

In the end, the production released an apology saying, "We are sorry about not being meticulous about the drama. We apologize to the fans and the cast".
