Actor Cho Jae-hyun is a movie director now.

He starts filming the low budget movie "Journey On My Own" this June.

With a production cost of total 200 million won, Journey On My Own" is about a regular head of a family, his marriage life and unexpected love.

Cho Jae-hyun personally wrote the scenario and is investing and producing it himself.

Cho Jae-hyun said, "It's natural for an actor to become a director, but I don't want this to become a trend. I want to make it quietly and be judged when it's done. I am not getting any outside investment and I wanted to do this on my own without any interference".

"Journey On My Own" is the story of a man who can't forget the woman he broke up with 10 years ago.

Cho Jae-hyun said, "It's about a man whose life has become an obsession over a woman. I thought of this scenario for two years and I'm sure I'll make a commercial movie that lingers".

Casting is currently in process and the movie will be shot in Jeju, Gangneung and more.

He's already produced two trailer footages for the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival, a short documentary and a music video for the singer Im Jae-beom.

Cho Jae-hyun said, "Women in the 30s and 40s like my script. The movie makes them recall marriage and family today".
