The comics Sound from the Heart (Cho Seok) and the animation Ultimate Challenge (Director: Kim Joon-Mun) were named winners of the Popular Comics and Animation Work award at the 2007 Korea Comics, Animation, and Character Awards.

Hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Korea Culture and Content Agency, this popular comics and animation award is given to the comics and animation works, respectively, that have been the most popular in a year, based on the results of the week-long vote held from November 13 to 19 on Naver's comics Web site.

Sound from the Heart received 65,349 out of 124,572 votes, representing 52% of the total votes. As its title says, it portrays the sound from the heart, which should be muted. It has been extremely popular among the netizens via Naver's blog. Based on ordinary stories directly or indirectly culled from the author's life, the comics reconstructs these materials into ironic expressions and bizarre pictures that appeal greatly to the wider public.
