The prosecution requested a hearing on Choi's decision at the Seoul Central District Court on Saturday, saying that the victim, a woman entertainer, suffered irreparable wounds due to the crime caused by a minor motive.

"The crime of threatening to expose one's lover out of spite needs to be severely punished regardless of who he or she is", said the chief prosecuting attorney. "Even then, the defendant does not reflect on himself, but rather claims he's the victim".

"The crime is severe, the nature of the crime is bad and he also caused secondary damage".

Previously in September last year, Choi was accused of harming Go Ha-ra in an argument and threatening her with a sex video.

On the other hand, Choi's attorney claimed that the media and investigative associations have restrained him with the words 'revenge porn' and pleaded for mercy.

Goo's attorney claimed that the victim is living in constant fear that people will see her sex video that exists somewhere and also claimed Choi is not showing any remorse.

The court will hold Choi's final trial on the 29th of August.
