Choi Soo-jong and Shin Yi Leave for Nepal as Volunteers

Actor Choi Soo-jong and actress Shin Yi have left for Nepal to do some volunteer work there.
The international relief organization Good Neighbors said Choi and Shin will spend quality time with Nepalese children Jan. 14-19 at the organization's Nepal headquarters as its goodwill ambassadors.
The actors will visit a daycare center for children supported by Good Neighbors to help children take baths, play soccer with them and participate in various events, as well as donate soccer balls.
Prior to leaving for Nepal, Choi said he decided to help poverty-stricken children in Nepal to encourage them, despite many children needing help in Korea. The actor also pledged efforts to make volunteer work part of his everyday life.
Shin Yi, for her part, said she was happy to be doing meaningful work and vowed to do her best to help the children.
