"Beyond Evil" is the story of two men who break down the law and principals to catch a serial killer. It throws the questions, "Who is the monster? You? Me? Or us?" and closely follows the multifaceted nature of the human beings. It just may be the birth of a sophisticated psychodrama helmed by Sim Na-yeon and written by Kim Soo-jin-V.

Choi Sung-eun joins "Beyond Evil" in a leading role by the name of Yoo Jae-yi. She is the master of knives as she can slice meat in one swift move but lives a hardscrabble life as she is the only protector of her hometown. She gets entangled in an uncontrollable whirlwind with policemen Lee Dong-sik (Shin Ha-kyun) and Han Joo-won (Yeo Jin-goo) and tracks down the truth.

Choi Sung-eun plans to portray the complex inner side of Yoo Jae-yi with vivid expression and solid acting. Anticipation rises as to what synergy Choi Sung-eun will bring. Choi Sung-eun became a rising star with her debut in "Start-Up" last year and was most recently cast in "SF8", Jo-an's Galaxy segment.

Meanwhile, "Beyond Evil" premieres in early 2021.
