Cheon Ho-jin to Star in tvN's Latest "The Road: The Tragedy of One"

Cheon Ho-jin has confirmed his appearance in "The Road: The Tragedy of One".

tvN's new drama "The Road: The Tragedy of One" depicts the ugly desires, secrets, guilt and salvation of 'Royal the Hill' where only the top 1% of South Korea lives.

Cheon Ho-jin plays Seo Gi-tae, the chairman of a leading conglomerate. The father of Seo Eun-soo (Yoon Se-ah) and father-in-law of Baek Soo-hyeon (Ji Jin-hee), he is a self-righteous and a cold-hearted man who never spends money on things that he will not benefit from and has an arrogant personality. Expectations are high for Cheon Ho-jin's enthusiastic performance to prove his unrivaled presence by creating a 'Seo Gi-tae' character with his own color.

Cheon Ho-jin, who won the 2020 KBS Drama Awards for her role as Song Yeong-dal in KBS2's "Once Again" last year, drew attention in JTBC's "Beyond Evil" by breaking down into Nam Sang-bae, the police chief, and amplifying mystery. In this work, his irreplaceable performance foretells a different transformation with a more intense character.

Meanwhile, tvN's new drama "The Road: The Tragedy of One" is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2021.
