Asia's leading contents company CJ E&M will introduce the new singing competition show 100Seconds on its music channel Mnet and general entertainment channel tvN starting May 20. In each episode, a different group of eight undiscovered professional singers will compete to win the hearts of audiences.

An innovative approach for a singing competition show, during the first round, contestants will sing for the first 100 seconds with their appearances completely hidden. The studio audience, ranging in age from 10-to-50 years old, will have to judge the singers based purely on vocal performance regardless of factors such as appearance or age. After 100 seconds, the faces of the contestants will be unveiled as the second round begins. The aim of 100Seconds is to give undiscovered professional singers a fair opportunity to shine with their vocal talents.

100Seconds will air on Mnet and tvN every Tuesday at 8:50PM (KST) starting May 20.
