The quartet beat out last week's winner MBLAQ, currently promoting their second single "Y", with the song from their second mini-album titled "Bluelove".

"I think we won this prize thanks to our agency and everyone else's help... We will keep working hard", leader Jung Yong-hwa said in the group's acceptance speech.

This is the second victory CNBLUE is taking in the Korean music scene -- their single "Alone", released in January this year, topped several charts in just a couple of weeks of going on sale.

The group had released two singles in Japan before breaking into the local music scene with their mini-album titled "Bluetory".

They had received much attention ahead of its debut with leader and main vocalist Jung Yong-hwa gaining popularity through SBS TV series "You're Beautiful".
