Hip-hop fans have a lot to be excited about this month, with hip-hop concerts by their favorite artists scheduled to rock them. This month's scheduled performances include a solo concert by Yang Dong-geun and a show featuring Epik High and fusion group Clazziquai.

Popular actor and hip-hop star Yang has been drawing a lot of attention, as it is his first solo concert.

In Taejon on March 24, Yang will perform with Leessang, Tiger JK and T. His concert will be divided into four acts _ The History, New York Street, With Friends and Finale.

After the Taejon concert, he will perform in Seoul on March 31.

Titled "YDG Another Drama", the concert will be held at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park in Seoul. His friends in the hip-hop world such as DJ DOC, Dynamic Duo, Bobby Kim and Buga Kingz will join Yang on stage.

Yang made his debut as a hip-hop performer in 2001. Known as a leader in freestyle hip-hop, Yang has released three albums, with the most recent, "Mirror Vol. 3", released in July.

Yang has acted in dramas such as 2006's "Ruler of Your Own World" and films such as last year's "Monopoly" and 2004's "Fighter in the Wind".

Tickets for the Seoul concert are priced from 35,000 won to 55,000 won, while tickets for the Taejon concert are priced from 40,000 won to 50,000 won. For more information, visit http://ticket.interpark.com or call 1588-4446.

Another big show for hip-hop fans is by Epik High, one of the most popular hip-hop groups today. They will perform with fusion group Clazziquai on March 17.

"Epik High-Clazziquai Party @ Blue Spirit" starts at 11 p.m. at the Sheraton Grand Walkerhill Kayagum Hall.

Composed of rappers Tablo, Mithra and DJ Tukutz, Epik High merges socially conscious lyrics with hip-hop music. Their hits "Fly" and "Fan" have helped hip-hop music gain a wider audience in Korea.

Epik High's popularity has recently soared to new levels, as their fourth album, "Remapping the Human Soul", sold 47,909 units in its first week of sale in late January. It was the top-selling album in the country.

Clazziquai is known for their fresh musical sound combining electronica, acid jazz and house. Clazziquai's members include DJ Clazzi and singers Alex Chu and Horan Choi. The trio have already released two albums, "Instant Pig" and "Color Your Soul".

Their most popular songs to date have been "Be My Love" and "She Is", both of which were featured in the hit drama "My Name is Kim Sam-soon".

Epik High and Clazziquai are not strangers. The groups have collaborated in the past, on such songs as "Paris", which was included in Epik High's "Swan Song" album.

Top DJs Guru, Ziro, Hoolaloops and VJs Ziro and Nine are scheduled to keep the party going until the early morning. Tickets for the party cost 30,000 won at http://ticket.interpark.com and 35,000 won at the door.
