"Dad for Rent" made it to 5th place on the first day of release.

According to the Korean Film Council, "Dad for Rent" collected 13,283 audiences on the 20th which was the day of release. The accumulated number is estimated to be around 20,335.

Based on an original novel, "Dad for Rent" is about a daughter who puts her jobless Dad for Rent online. Starring Kim Sang-kyung, Bang Minah (Girl's Day), Chae Jung-an, Jo Jae-yun and Choi Da-in, this movie is Kim Deok-soo's first debuting movie.
