"Descendants of the Sun" is responding to fans' requests. A director's cut is coming out.

KBS Media and Descendants of the Sun Cultural Industry Company announced that a director's cut and Blu-ray of "Descendants of the Sun" will be released according to fans' requests.

The director's cut will have fun elements in it. Scenes that weren't shown in the final sixteenth episode is under editing too. It's reflecting on the review that the ending of the drama wasn't good enough.

There will also be additions likes the making of the drama, music videos and behind-the-scenes footage.
